Barton River Marsh National Natural Landmark

September 8, 2022

Dropped off my youngest for her final year of high school – wow! – and headed north to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom for a couple of days. First stop was this NNL close to Canada. Gorgeous 200-acre marsh that’s home to a large variety of wildlife.

After lounging and watching the water and various species of birds (none of which I could get on camera), I headed southeast to Lake Willoughby (next post).
