August 14, 2023. My VT trip continued with a drive through the largest red maple swamp in Vermont. Cornwall Swamp comes right up to the edges of the road that runs through it, and I was grateful the pavement wasn’t flooded from all the recent rain. There is a little place to park close to a narrow bridge, but right now there is water damage there and the area is unsafe and closed off.
