I’m running out of LifeQuest sites that are within an easy day’s drive from my NH home. Once my cat has passed on and a couple of business items are taken care of, I can hit the trails and the world full time. I can’t wait. I feel very much like I have outgrown this stationary part of my life. In the meantime, I’ll keep doing what I can part-time. I should be able to finish Vermont and MA next year.
Speaking of Vermont – I tried to visit Franklin Bog up near Canada, but it now appears the entire thing lies on private property. The Nature Conservatory signs are still there…right behind trees with POSTED signs attached. I couldn’t see any legal way to set foot on the Natural Landmark, so I just waved from the car and moved on. Oh well. I’m not going to break laws during this quest.
