I had some time to kill in the afternoon between a doctor’s appointment and picking up my daughters from Concord, so I checked off a National Heritage Area by visiting Brookline, NH, an important mill town in the mid-18th and 19th centuries. This covered pedestrian bridge is lovely and quaint, and it spans the Nissitissit River, which is a National Wild & Scenic River.
