did just over seven miles out-and-back on this humid and buggy day. My pack felt heavy, even though it is the same weight I’ve been training with for weeks. Didn’t sleep well last night, maybe that’s the reason for my sluggishness.
Anyway, this is a paved bike path in Columbia County, NY. The path extends north and south for just over 40 miles, but only two sections, this one and the one in Dutchess County, are classified as National Recreation Trails.
