Mississippi Sandhill Crane NWR.
Walked the C.L. Dees Nature Trail, took a few photos from inside the Visitor Center, and had a fortuitous sighting of the cranes themselves.
C.L. Dees owned the land within which the aptly named trail now winds. He sold it to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to support the Mississippi Sandhill Crane conservation effort.

Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge. About twenty minutes east of Mississippi Sandhill Crane NWR, close to the Alabama border.
Escatawpa Trail. Located close to the Mississippi Welcome Center off I-10. One mile+ easy loop trail leading to a lookout with water views.

Savanna Trail. Starts at the Grand Bay Visitor Center. Mostly out in the sun, so protect your skin. One mile+ loop stroll through the savanna.

Oak Grove Birding Trail. Just down the road from Savanna Trail. Half mile loop through the woods.

I am now finished with Mississippi.
