Liberty Loop Trail which goes into New Jersey and shares part of its tread with the AT, and Winding Waters Trail. Just under five miles total. April 19, 2026.
Hiked in some cold rain today. Enjoyed revisiting a tiny portion of the AT.
I’m staying in an area close to both NY and NJ AT sections. Saw NJ’s high point obelisk from afar. Drove by one of the NY delis I stopped at last year. Memory lane.
Made a quick visit to Upper Delaware National Wild & Scenic River by Port Jervis on April 18, 2026.
